This week marks a milestone for Proteus: our Digital Director, Dave, celebrates 20 years with the company. Two decades of digital brilliance, client charm, and just the right amount of hip hop swagger.

If you’ve ever seen Dave in action – wrangling SharePoint into submission or delivering a pitch so smooth it could be pressed to vinyl – you’ll know he’s not just a tech leader. He’s a vibe.

Outside the office, Dave’s passions run deep. With a metal detector in hand, he channels his inner Indiana Jones (but with better Wi-Fi). His love for old-school hip hop and electro is legendary – think Roland drum machines, not Spotify playlists. And rumour has it he once moonwalked across The Studio nightclub floor in the 1980s, leaving behind awe… and a few baffled bouncers.

When it comes to comedy, Dave’s taste is as sharp as his PowerPoint decks. Whether it’s the wit of Blackadder or the entrepreneurial genius of Del Boy, he’s got a quote for every occasion – and yes, he’s probably already automated it in SharePoint.
